Backup Irrigation Well - Status Installation November 5, 2025

As you know, the District has pursued the permitting and installation of a backup well for the irrigation system of the Community.

The District has completed the installation of the backup well, which can ONLY be used in the event that one of the existing two (2) wells goes down and we cannot pump water from the existing system.

The well is located near Lake 10 by the Community pumphouse and is monitored by SFWMD to ensure this well is only utilized when one of the existing wells is down.

The additional well is a great addition to our backup capacity and will ensure that we will have sufficient capacity to provide irrigation water in the event of an emergency condition.

October 1, 2025 Update

The CDD and HOA have scheduled a project to pressure clean, sand, and seal the existing pavers at the front entrance and gate area. Work is expected to take approximately eight days, beginning October 13th, weather permitting.

During this time, one lane will remain open, but traffic delays will occur. Residents are encouraged to use the back entry when possible to avoid disruptions. The CDD/HOA will make every effort to complete the work as efficiently as possible.

Please review the information provided under What's New; CDD/HOA Notice - Paver Cleaning, Sanding, and Sealing that contains a diagram to show the areas and anticipated work schedule:

  • Yellow – October 13 & 15
  • Blue – October 14 & 16
  • Pink – October 16–20
  • Orange – October 20
  • Purple – October 21

The Green area near the guardhouse must be completed in a single phase to minimize impact. A specific date has not yet been determined, but residents will be notified in advance once it is scheduled.
